Pomp and color was the highlight of the much awaited ladies High Tea that took place on 31st July, 2021 at Duxton Hotel in Perth. Beautiful ladies of all ages with their lovely smiles strutted into the fancy and well prepared meeting place at Duxton as early,
very eager enough to enjoy the function. It was a moment to meet and greet and make new friends.
There was an introduction of the KCWA women leaders, speeches and a call for every lady in KCWA to own and work towards a united ladies group and ultimately a united larger community. This happened as ladies savored on the bountiful dainty meal of an assortment of sweet and delicious cakes, finger sandwiches, scones, to name but a few all the while downing this with the drink of choice; tea, coffee etc.
To crown the event the ladies got a chance to dance to their favourite music from the blaring sound from the Dj.
The occasion would not have been a success without the able leadership of our KCWA Women Department leaders led by Naomi Wambui and Redemtor assisted by an organizing committee consisting of some KCWA women leaders, namely : Jesca Ngeno (KCWA Vice President), Naomi Awange(KCWA Family Welfare leader) and Mary Muchoki Rubia ( KCWA Web-Administrator).
A big thank you to every lady that took their time and resources to be a part of this ladies' function. The event was a success because you were there. Thank you. We hope to see many ladies both young and old in our soon forthcoming events.
